On September 19, 2026, the European Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (ETCC) and the Republic of China National Chamber of Commerce (ROCCOC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Taipei, establishing a closer framework for cooperation to promote trade, industrial collaboration, and market expansion between Taiwan and Europe.

The MOU covers key areas including mutual business visits and business matchmaking, cooperation in exhibitions and trade events, exchange of industry and market information, as well as investment cooperation and resource sharing. These initiatives aim to create new business opportunities for enterprises in Taiwan and Europe.

The signing ceremony received coverage from several media outlets, highlighting ETCC’s important role in connecting Taiwanese and European business networks and promoting international economic and trade cooperation.

ETCC will continue to integrate the resources of its member chambers across Europe and actively facilitate practical business cooperation, support Taiwanese enterprises in expanding into the European market, and strengthen two-way trade and economic exchanges between Taiwan and Europe.
