比利時臺商經貿座談｜掌握歐盟政策脈動　深化臺歐經貿交流
比利時臺灣商會於7月14日與駐歐盟兼駐比利時代表處共同舉辦「比利時臺商經貿座談——探討歐盟近期重大政策」，邀集旅比臺商、僑界先進及各界嘉賓齊聚交流，共同掌握歐盟最新政策發展及臺商未來布局方向。
活動由駐歐盟兼駐比利時代表處謝大使及比利時臺灣商會林天章會長致詞，並由代表處經貿、政務及相關業務單位進行專題分享，深入探討歐中經貿關係、歐盟碳邊境調整機制（CBAM）、人工智慧發展與潛在商機、企業與人權政策、比利時經濟概況及歐盟未來政策等重要議題。
透過專業且具實務性的政策解析，協助旅歐臺商掌握歐洲政經環境、市場變化與法規趨勢，提前因應政策及產業變化，並尋找新的合作、投資及市場拓展機會。
座談結束後，與會貴賓、臺商會員及僑界先進於餐敘中持續交流，分享在比利時及歐洲市場發展的經驗，現場互動熱絡，也進一步凝聚臺商社群的交流與合作。

Belgium Taiwanese Business Seminar | Understanding EU Policy Trends and Strengthening Taiwan–EU Economic Exchange

On July 14, the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, together with the Taipei Representative Office to the EU and in Belgium, hosted the “Belgium Taiwanese Business Seminar – Exploring Recent Major EU Policies.” The event brought together Taiwanese business representatives in Belgium, community leaders, and distinguished guests to exchange views on the latest EU policy developments and business opportunities for Taiwanese companies in Europe.

The seminar opened with remarks by Ambassador Hsieh, Representative of the Taipei Representative Office to the EU and in Belgium, and Mr. Lin Tien-Chang, President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Belgium. Representatives from the Office’s economic, political, and related departments then shared insights on key topics, including EU–China economic relations, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), artificial intelligence and emerging business opportunities, business and human rights policies, the Belgian economic outlook, and future EU policy developments.

Through practical and professional analysis, the seminar helped Taiwanese businesses better understand Europe’s political and economic environment, market developments, and regulatory trends, enabling them to prepare for policy and industry changes while identifying new opportunities for cooperation, investment, and market expansion.

Following the seminar, guests, chamber members, and community representatives continued their discussions over a networking lunch, sharing practical experiences of doing business in Belgium and across Europe. The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen connections within the Taiwanese business community.

The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Belgium will continue to serve as a platform connecting government, businesses, the Taiwanese community, and professional resources, helping Taiwanese companies navigate EU policy developments, expand their presence in European markets, and strengthen economic cooperation between Taiwan, Belgium, and the European Union.
